The Oculus at the World Trade Center Transportation Hub is such a beautiful and unique space. It’s difficult to put into words and has to be seen to be believed. For advertisers this means you can’t just run the same digital ads you would in any other space. We found that designing ads for the space was challenging not only to the artists, but also for the clients attempting to review the ads themselves. We recreated The Oculus as a 3D virtual space and started importing our creative work into a VR tour. It sped up our production time and expanded the creative possibilities for these impactful ads. By giving our clients access to the VR tour, ad reviews were much more informed and they were much more confident about the launch of their ads at the Oculus.
